Dr. Joseph D. Foresi is a strategic financial professional with over twenty years of leadership experience utilizing a wide range of valuable expertise, skills, & relationships.
Over his career, Joseph has developed a robust financial skill set in understanding, analyzing, and running public and private companies focused on identifying, creating, and capturing shareholder value. Most recently he utilized his expertise to drive shareholder value through the investor relations program. Before joining the team, he built and led an M&A origination team responsible for driving acquisitions.
Before his corporate career, he worked on Wall Street as an equity analyst where he was ranked the #1 Analyst of the Decade out of 6,000 analysts based on his stock-picking performance (Click Here). He has built domain expertise in several sectors including the technology sector and areas like fintech and digital services.
From 2015 to 2020, Joseph was Managing Director of the Technology group at Cantor Fitzgerald where his coverage including FinTech, Business Services, Disruptive Software, and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to Cantor, he spent a decade building his reputation in equity research at Janney Montgomery Scott. His investment career began in the early 2000’s in high net worth, private wealth management at Brown Brothers Harriman. He has been quoted in many publications and made numerous public appearances including on CNBC.
Dr. Foresi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has an MBA from Northeastern. He recently used his analytical skills to complete his doctorate. His thesis focused on valuation’s role in the investment process. He has pending publications, graduate school teaching experience, and is the Executive in Residence at the University of Rhode Island. He and his family live in Charlestown, Massachusetts where he is a board member of the Charlestown Little League and Youth Soccer Program.
