Dr. Joseph D. Foresi is a Boston-area finance professional with over two decades of experience in Wall Street equity research, asset management, and corporate finance. He was ranked the #1 equity analyst of the decade by TipRanks in January 2020, out of more than 6,000 Wall Street analysts, based on his stock-picking performance. He served as Managing Director of the Technology group at Cantor Fitzgerald, covering FinTech, Business Services, Disruptive Software, and Artificial Intelligence.

Dr. Foresi holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, an MBA from Northeastern University, and a BA magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has published peer-reviewed academic work in the Journal of Behavioral Finance and has an accepted paper in the Journal of Investing. He has taught investments at various New England based colleges and universities including a course in equity analysis at Stonehill College based directly on the framework presented in his book and works in asset management in the Boston area.
